This part of the city is well known to all residents of Osaka, as it is a great meeting place, under these two famous landmarks, the crab and the Glico sign. They are at the intersection of two of Osaka's busiest shopping strips, where you can shop for anything from Gucci to shinkansen tickets, and eat anything from taco yaki (fried octopus dumplings) to soup noodles (ramen). On the weekends and at night time it is nearly impossible to walk through here, there are so many people out on the streets.
