Wajima morning market is the place where the local fishermen and farmers' wives bring their produce to town to sell. They then pack what is left, along with their preparation implements such as fish knives, skewers, etc. and transport it home on the local bus. There seem to be only old ladies doing this - no young people seem to be preparing to take over this very old practice.
